I can’t even believe how awful this company is for selling “quality products” I placed my order on cyber Monday & im still waiting for the first one that hasn’t left their warehouse & the second one they shipped because they claimed fedex had my package yet it wasn’t scanned for a week. They create shipping labels so you have a tracking number and don’t ship until weeks after. Probably made to order or they sell products that aren’t in stock. Even when they’re advertising 3 day shipping. Contacted customer service 3 times. They insult my intelligence over & over by insisting Fedex had the package. Which is impossible considering as I previously stated, it wasnt scanned for a week. At this point I don’t even want the mirror & I just want my money back. Please don’t believe the fake 5 star reviews. I’m so serious, they’re awful.

As I continue to deal with this company, I would really like Simplehuman to see their customer service through the eyes of my FIRST experience.
1. Ordered items online seeing a promise of FREE SHIPPING 3 days or less. (website STILL shows that promise; no disclaimer) Order placed 8/16; items received 9/5
2. Credit card charged IMMEDIATELY; most companies charge the card when the items are SHIPPED.
3. Tried many many times to track down my order via ONLINE CHAT. EACH & EVERY time I got to the point to input my order number, CHAT OFFLINE would appear and my information would disappear!!
4. Next, contacted Customer Service via email trying to find out if items were ever shipped. Emails were politely answered but no resolution nor truth was offered. Finally asked for a PHONE CALL or cancellation of order. Phone call received with an explanation of the situation. FYI, most people can deal with things IF they are told of the situation; vague answers & no communication does not foster trust in your company.
5. Order finally received ... accompanied by a duplicate order. I notified Simplehuman and now it is "my responsibility" to "re-pack" the items down to 1 box, print the return shipping label sent via email then attach and deliver the package direct to FEDEX.
There are so, so many ways this whole ordeal could have been handled better. The amount of time and inconveniences I have endured dealing with Simplehuman greatly diminish and overshadow the quality products you sell. I cannot in good conscience recommend your company.

Poor Customer Service

We purchased a shower caddy. The box did not have all the parts. We contacted Customer Support and requested an exchange.
Customer Support asked for photographs. We took photographs and sent them to the point of contact. Customer Support told us that we should be able to put it together. We once again told them that it did not have all the parts. They have not responded in two weeks. Simple Human simply does not care.

Low Quality Product, even worse After Sales Service

Ordered my auto-open-garbage can in Aug 2020 and received it timely. After a few months the performance of the auto-opening started to get worse and worse and I decided to contact the service desk 4 weeks ago. I send pictures and a video and they agreed to send me a replacement part. Since then I did not hear anything anymore, no reactions on emails. In the meantime the garbage can does not open at all anymore... kinda disappointing for a 300 euro garbage can, don't you think? Never should have bought it.
If the situation changes, I will update this review.
Update: another 4 weeks later: nothing from Simplehuman. I reacted now by demanding a fix date or a reimbursement. Next step is reporting this scam to the police. Oh yeah, and in the meanwhile they closed my case on the service-website....Will let you know the outcome.

Quality, Beautiful and Practical Products

Have bought a few products over the years from SimpleHuman. We like the fact they are well designed, practical, functional and look beautiful. Spoke with Ella, from their Customer Service team, and she was very helpful, polite, friendly, professional and efficient. Definitely not the cheapest soap dispenser available to buy but, from our experience, generally you get what you pay for. Cheaper dispensers have rusted, malfunctioned and were a false economy. The other Simplehuman dispenser we have is still going strong after many years and this new addition for another room is an improvement on that both in design and functionality very happy with it and to have excellent product support is great and much appreciated.

Shampoo dispenser shattered on shower floor

I had the shampoo dispenser up for 12 hours and it already fell off the wall and shattered all over the shower. Looks good, but even the heavy-duty command strips won't hold it to the shower wall. You'll have to drill it in, which is not something I can do in my place.

Simple Trash

Well just like the other comments below I wrote a bad review about their garbage can and by my surprise simple human reached out to me and offered me a replacement free of charge because I had a warranty. I was like cool they said it will be delivered by Nov 28 and guess what it never showed up smh. I called them and they apologized and re-sent me one but here is the kicker the Fed ex tracker number they sent me doesn’t work .it’s now Jan 17th 2020 and still no trash can. I’ll update this review when it and if it arrives

Poor quality & planned obsolesence

$70 for a trash can with a foot operated lid, well worth it for actual lasting quality. The only requirement is the lid open when the pedal is pressed, Simplehuman can't pull it off. The lid broke when a child under 40lbs. Was depressing the pedal. The website claimed a 10 year warranty which this can is well within, an email from Simplehuman stated it was only 2 years, how convenient. They no longer offer parts for the overpriced, underbuilt trashcan but are eager enough to take our money again, for another poor quality product that they've offered a 20% coupon. Planned obsolescence on sale!

I'm not sure how you fail at designing…

I'm not sure how you fail at designing a trash can but simple human has managed to do it. They should change the name to stupid human.

Shipping issues and delays

Shipping issues galore. Have talked to customer service multiple times but my order from Cyber Monday has yet to ship. They just give me excuses and say "you should expect your order shipped this week". I also ordered trash bags that was shipped and deliver a few days ago, weeks after ordering. After promising "shipped tomorrow", you'd think they would honor this or at least give you some type of real answer besides blaming it on FedEx. FYI, I have ordered from many other companies with 0 issues from FedEx. I am tempted to order from another vendor instead of simplehuman for a simplehuman product! If you want to run your company like this, there is something severely wrong with your fulfillment process.

Horrid Shipping!

This company makes decent products, but their shipping times are horrid. Their customer support responses to inquiries are worse than Baghdad Bob! Choose another company to buy from and avoid the frustration!

Your site stinks

Your site stinks, your product does not work, I cannot get through to you using my order number it says it’s incorrect, your site stinks your product stinks I need a new one or a return, I do not recommend anyone buying this

Sliding drawer organiser

We ordered a sliding drawer organiser from Simple Human to fit a kitchen cupboard. Initially we ordered the wrong size so we ordered another the right size, paid for it and waited for the free pick up of the wrong one. Sure enough the right size came and we were impressed with the quality and ease of fitting and a few days later the wrong one was picked up. Being cynical I was still waiting for our refund before writing a review and today we received it, so I can recommend this company. What I would say is they should give the actual size of the drawer, not the size of the cabinet it goes in. I was able to get one that was the perfect size when I phoned and found out the drawer size, that is why I only give them 4 stars.
